All members can upload pictures to the web site.  Please try to do so early in the week.  The pictures help to show how much snow we have in our Five Winds area on the given day, and the type of terrain we ski/snowshoe in.  It is particularly helpful for those who did not book the bus that day, especially since people look at conditions in Toronto, Horseshoe, Hardwood Hills or Collingwood, which is not going to have the same conditions as our area as we are in a different "snow belt area."   Please be selective on the pictures and post small files.  The files posted on our web site are less than 500 kb or 1/2 mb.  Most cameras are at least 5 mb (5000 kb), so at least 20 times larger than you need.  If you're measuring by size, 640 x 480 size will be more than enough to show the pictures well.

Instructions:  You must first be logged in to the web site to see an Upload button.  Click the Upload button and scroll to where your pictures are located.  Choose your files (max 5 at a time).  Click Upload and your files will upload.  Please make sure your pictures are oriented correctly  If you see your picture that is incorrect, you will be able to delete it by clicking on the picture and selecting the trash can.  Please note, we do not have the resources to upload or to fix pictures for you.

Winter Bus: January 27, 2019

Lots of snow on our trails.  We had the ski groups working together so that trails would be "groomed"  which made it much faster skiing once you hit the newly groomed trails from the other groups and being able to cover ground.  Being in the forests was a good thing as there was quite the stiff breeze.  We also had two snowshoe groups that wended their way through the backcountry.

Next week's forecast calls for more snow.  Winter has arrived!
