Free seminar on winter wilderness

Five Winds is being hosted by MEC's flagship Queens St store for a free seminar on winter wilderness. And this is open to the public on the main floor of the store.

Topics:

• Navigation in wilderness
• Staying dry
• Field repairs
• Reading ice and crossing frozen lakes and streams
• Key equipment, including skis, snowshoes, and crampons, and their proper use

This is an educational and informational event, not a sales event.

What a great chance to meet some of us and engage in winter wilderness! Let's use our opportunities to get out of the city and enjoy the outdoors!

No registration necessary. Just show up, and join us.
