We will be canoeing in and camp near our Gravenhurst side trails. Camping is backcountry (no facilities of any kind except the great outdoors). We have a number of portages about 800/800/400 m each way, so packing efficiently and light is essential as we also have to bring in trail clearing equipment and markers, and want to minimize our back and forths on the portages. Food/camping equipment (tents, stove, et cetera) will be independent.
Members who do not have a canoe, can sign up as there may be people with canoes looking for partners, or a canoe available if someone can car top it, or else the possibility that you can rent with another person.
This is a great way to get to know some of our remote trails, catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
Note: To be on this trip, you must be at the put-in on Thursday 10:00 a.m. since navigation to the area can be a challenge, and we won't know exactly where we'll be camping.

Cost: Car pooling and parking (if applicable).
