This is a one-way hike from the Gibson to the Big Chute area. Members must have the stamina and be able to keep a steady pace throughout the day as there are no exit points along the way. Parts of the beginning, middle and end go through unmarked trails. There will be a couple of places to refill your water bottles with a filter.
There will likely still be some snow, ice or mud on the trails so bringing "micro spikes" are highly recommended to make hiking easier.
Expect to be on the trail by 9:30 and leaving the area by 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Car pooling costs.
Registration closes on Wednesday, April 17 at 9 p.m.. THERE WILL BE NO LATE BOOKINGS ALLOWED as we need time to organize before the hike the shuttling of cars. It will also be dependent on the speed of hikers, which will affect the car pool arrangements.
