Just in time for our ski/snowshoe season start, we urge all Five Winds tour leaders to attend this safety training session. We also invite all other club members as we each play a role in ensuring safety during our ski and snowshoe days together.
This safety session will be set up with members divided up into groups and asked to plan out their route for a mock ski day. As the mock day progresses the group will be given typical scenarios encountered from past years and asked to plot there progress. At the end of the mock day the group will be asked what worked well and what could be improved on. Feedback from the group and other groups will be discussed to gain insight from all.
