Canada Coach has informed us that we will be going on a Denny bus not a Canada Coach bus.

Snowsqualls are blowing over our trails both last night and all today. The temperature is dropping tonight and into tomorrow so we should have nice dry snow. The sun is also supposed to come out after two weeks of dull weather. We plan to go to the east side of our trails up highway 11 to Gravenhurst and on to Nine Mile Marina. There are still some spots on the bus. Our snowshoe group is full.

We should have another great day on our Five Winds trails, marshes, ponds and backcountry.  We are having both a snowshoe group and ski groups.  Gary Ataman and Louise Langlais are leading the snowshoe group.  There are still spots available but there is a limit of 12 people.

See you on the bus next Sunday.  Judy Finlay, bus organizer

Tomorrow is looking better all the time.  No drizzle but now fog.  How many people have skied in the fog?  It is really neat.  Another new experience for our backcountry skiers and snowshoers.  We do still have seats on the bus but you will have to pay the late fee.

We can take 56 skiers/snowshoers on the bus. Right now we have 16 Bruce Trail snowshoers and 12 skiers signed up on this past sunday. Unless there are some cancellations the snowshoe group is full. We still have room on the bus but it could fill up quickly. Get your registration in as soon as possible.

As of Wednesday, December 28th we still have lots of snow on our trails.

Oddly, we have welcomed this melt and rain. It has made a great hard snow base and we are expecting more soft snow on top over the next week. You can start signing up on our new website.

We look forward to seeing a full bus for our first ski day.

    Happy New Year to all.

Front/Spadina:  There will no longer be a pick-up at this location.  The first pick-up is Yorkville/Yonge.
Yonge/YorkMills  The parking lot at this location is still in existence.  A new condominium is to be built but nothing so far.  We are monitoring the situation in case the parking lot is no longer available.
Hwy 400/Hwy 9  The pick-up location will be right in the car pool lot area.  No longer by the on-ramp.
